RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION for 2019- 2020 school year is about to get underway.
The Annual Kick off for Religious Education Classes (grades pre-K through Eighth Grade and Youth Group - High School students) will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, after the 9:30 mass. Classes begin Sunday, August 18th after the 9:30 mass. You will be asked to download the Registration Form, complete both sides, and return to the Religious Education Office.
Students will be prepared to celebrate First Reconciliation/ First Holy Communion from second grade or up. First Reconciliation will be first sacrament received after Baptism. First Communion will follow the year after completing and receiving First Reconciliation. ALL classes must be attended; arrangements will be made to assist in case an emergency prevents attendance.
Your child must be registered and attend a formal religious education program for the seventh and eighth grade years in order to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in ninth grade.
All students should be attending consecutive levels of religious education, grades 1 through 8, in order to help them understand the Catholic faith and fully prepare them to participate and celebrate the beliefs and traditions of our church, while deepening their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. "Catch-up" tutorial classes will be needed for students having skipped any levels in grades 3-8.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding enrolling your child(ren), or volunteering your time, please feel free to contact Linda Pintar at the Parish Office - 520-868-5940,or CP#480-250-1320, or email at email@example.com

MANY THANKS TO OUR KNIGHTS!
Our Knights have graciously covered the cost of the books each year for the program, this allows us to continue to offer the religious education program for all grade levels for free. Questions? Please see Linda.
ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
We, the people of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Parish, accept the responsibility and challenge for the mission of Jesus to the Catholic Church "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." This is accomplished by creating a Christian community of Jesus which is alive and proclaims our worship, education, and service to others.
