We, the people of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Parish, accept the responsibility and challenge for the mission of Jesus to the Catholic Church "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations."  This is accomplished by creating a Christian community of Jesus which is alive and proclaims our worship, education, and service to others.

Confirmation is the last Sacrament in our blessed series of what we call our "Initiation Sacraments". It is the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit wherein our gift of faith received at Baptism and nurtured through Eucharist and reconciliation, is strengthened and "Confirmed".

If you are visiting our site because your child is approaching high school, welcome!  Here is some of what you'll want to know:

Students will celebrate Confirmation in ninth grade after being enrolled in a formal religious education program from the reception of First Holy Communion. 
 


Confirmation for 9th graders & High School students who have met the 2 yr. Religious Education requirements consecutive, please contact Linda Pintar.   Classes will be starting on January 29th 2017,  after the 9:30a.m. Mass. Classes will be held in the classroom by the gift shop. Please register with Linda in advance so that the appropriate number of books can be ordered. There is no charge for this class. 



Students not meeting this criteria will be eligible for tutoring of any missed grades.
