ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
We, the people of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Parish, accept the responsibility and challenge for the mission of Jesus to the Catholic Church "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." This is accomplished by creating a Christian community of Jesus which is alive and proclaims our worship, education, and service to others.

What about Children who are 18 Years of Age or Older? Children are considered members with their parents until they turn 18 years old. Once they are 18, it is their own responsibility to register as a member independent of their parents.
O Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God and Mother of humanity, we believe with all the fervor of our Faith in your triumphal Assumption, both body and soul, into Heaven, where you are acclaimed as Queen by all the choirs of angels and all the legions of saints. And we united with them to praise and bless the Lord who has exalted you above all other pure creatures, and to offer you the tribute of our devotion and our love. --

TO ALL CATHOLIC FAITHFUL
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2020
RE: CHURCH CLOSURE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2020.
We are sorry folks, the Bishop ordered to close our churches in the Diocese of Tucson once again due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in Arizona, effectively July 1, 2020. This is an indefinite closure until the situation gets better, but we are hoping that it would be shorter.
The faithful and visitors in the Diocese of Tucson are dispensed from Sunday Mass obligation. Kindly continue to watch Masses on TV or Youtube or to any other social media outlet while doing Spiritual Communion.
This is hard and uncertain times, but we must do it for the sake of our health and safety.
Thank you for your understanding.
FATHER JOSE MARIA A. CORVERA
